Woodman Park & Community Garden

A vibrant, multi-use community space where neighbours of all ages can gather, play, and engage with nature

At Woodman Park in Brantford, we designed a community hub where neighbours of all ages can gather, play, and connect. The space combines a vibrant community garden with a multi-age playground, accessible pathways, safety surfacing, shade structures, and welcoming site furnishings — all thoughtfully integrated to support everyday use and social interaction.

Every element was shaped with users in mind, ensuring the garden and play areas are inclusive, accessible, and inviting. Families can play together, neighbours can pause and chat, and the community can engage with the natural environment in meaningful ways.

The result is a lively, inclusive landscape that strengthens neighbourhood bonds, encourages interaction, and celebrates community life.
